The 248 Giving Society is our community of monthly donors who believe in our work, support our efforts, and make a lasting impact in our community.
We chose 248 for a couple of reasons. First, it is the area code for our little corner of Southeast Michigan. Second, it also serves as a goal: 248 monthly donors. If we hit our goal of 248 donors, donating $20 a month that adds up to almost $60,000. That's the cost of renovating a home for a family in our community. That's the cost of our Summer Youth Employment Program. That is the operation budget of Sprout Fresh Food Store for one year.
That is a lot of impact.
