And Laundry for All!

Every week, on Thursdays, Micah 6 Community takes a group of twenty neighbors to Laundrolab in Pontiac and helps put funds toward their laundry. Participants are given $10 toward their laundry costs, which we find is about half.

But it isn't just laundry. It's pickups in the van, jokes on the ride, time in conversation with friends, celebrations like birthdays, new jobs, and new apartments. It is sidewalk chalk for kids who come along in the summer and it's decks of cards that we play together.

Each week costs about $200 between laundry assistance, rides, snacks, etc. This is why we've set our goal at $10,400 for this campaign. 52 weeks x $200 = $10,400. We would love it if you could sponsor a week!
